Therapist's hands using long Lomi Lomi strokes during a Hawaiian massage

307 Lewers Street · Waikiki, Honolulu

Lomi Lomi Massage

Open daily 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM

Lomi Lomi is the traditional Hawaiian style of bodywork: long, continuous forearm and palm strokes that travel the length of the body rather than working one knot at a time. It was never a spa treatment originally — it came from Hawaiian healing practice, and the rhythm is what makes it feel different from Swedish or deep tissue. We offer it in 60, 75, 90 and 120 minute sessions, and your therapist will adjust the pressure to whatever you ask for. We're on Lewers Street in the heart of Waikiki — Unit 206, a few minutes' walk from the Royal Hawaiian, Outrigger Waikiki, Sheraton Waikiki, Halekulani, and Waikiki Beach itself. Open daily, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM.

Good to know

What does Lomi Lomi feel like?
Continuous and flowing — the therapist uses forearms and palms in long strokes over the whole body, so it feels like one unbroken movement rather than a sequence of separate techniques.
How long should my first Lomi Lomi be?
Sixty minutes covers the full body comfortably. Ninety gives the therapist time to work slowly through the back and shoulders as well.
Is oil used?
Yes — the long strokes need it. Let us know if you have any sensitivities and we'll adjust.
